Day 1, Friday

Arrive in New York City, and check-in at your luxury, boutique hotel. You are at leisure for the afternoon; we recommend a short walk to the Union Square Market, the city's pre-eminent Green Market.

Start the evening with welcome cocktail at the hotel and an orientation of the weekend. Then enjoy a 4-course tasting dinner at Mario Batali's Del Posto. Chef Mark Ladner will prepare a 4-course tasting meal where you choose an antipasto, two shared pastas, followed by your main course and dessert. A fitting start to your culinary weekend in NYC.


Day 2, Saturday

Breakfast at the hotel and then enjoy a private, hands-on cooking class at Chef Michael White's Morini restaurant. Produce served here is from local New York farms. Lunch of your creation will follow. The remainder of the afternoon is yours to explore. We have plenty of ideas for you and can assist with recommendations and reservations.


Day 3, Sunday

Breakfast at the hotel and then meet mid-morning for a walking and tasting tour of the Lower East Side. This private tour provides a fascinating Eastern European history of the neighborhood and features stops at revered eateries for exceptional smoked salmon; lunch at Katz's Deli (founded in 1888, this Jewish style deli is NYC's oldest and arguably its best), and fun noshes at the Essex Street Market. Wear comfy walking shoes and prepare yourself for a true insider's experience. You're sure to get plenty of special attention and great service from shop and restaurant owners, which is important, especially at Katz's.


Day 4, Monday

Breakfast at the hotel. This morning a short walk will bring you to Eataly where you'll experience a tour and tasting around this 50,000 square-foot multi-level emporium, devoted to the food and culinary traditions of Italy. It boasts seven restaurants, a rooftop beer garden and an on-site mozzarella maker. If your schedule permits, stay on to shop and lunch on your own. Departure.
